    Our discussion was focused on the Candidate's Answers to the Survey.
     Keeping in mind how important it is they will stand with us.
    Without recommending candidates, it is clear that two of the three that responded with thoughtful answers.
     One of the candidates used text from our survey questions in his full page ad in the GI Dispatch
     without answering our questions ?
      Rhonda Diehl did not respond.

   Copies of the July 14th meeting notes and a brief agenda for tonight's meeting were distributed.
Everyone was given a chance to share their frustrations. How NYS is managing the path, brush along the river was
supposedly being cleared and invasive species removed, not much change is noticable.
   As far as the mowing, it was noted by both JM's that it is better than when the DOT was doing it but the amount of HIGH MOW areas is discusting, especially at the Fix Road overlook.
    The Tick population was noted as especially heavy this year. Many examples were given. JM noted, that ironically the NYS Health Department
recommendation is to keep your grass mowed and short, something the NYS Depart of Parks totally ignores. There are people known to the board that have been treated for Lime disease,
that live and walk along the path, The problem is real.
It is our hope that everyone will read the responses and vote accordingly.
